One of the first things we teach any new Flight Instructor is: "It's not about you." We are in awe of what our students accomplish, and it is their successes that motivate us and drive us to evolve and improve.
Practical Test Success
As a team, our combined first-attempt pass rate exceeds 90%. This is an important number, but we also think it's a lazy statistic for a flight school to lean on. Some other important outcomes include:
Aircraft Owners
We've been a part of creating dozens of flying families, using their own airplanes to build family traditions, travel for leisure, and travel in furtherance of their own small businesses.
Airline Pilots
Former WFT students fly for multiple regional airlines and at least 4 major carriers. Our former students fly everything from the Embraer Regional Jet family, to the Boeing 737, to the Boeing 787.
Military Pilots
We're proud to have been a part of the journey of dozens of military aviators who fly or have flown in every service including the Coast Guard. Our former students fly all kinds of military aircraft including the state-of-the-art F-35.
